Army takes notice of propaganda campaign to create division between military, society

The 79th Conformation Commanders’ Conference on Tuesday took note of the recent propaganda crusade by some diggings to calumniate Pakistan Army and produce division between the service and society, said the service’s media sect.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the meeting, with fraternity commanders, top staff officers, and all conformation commanders of the Pakistan Army in attendance at the GHQ, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said that the meeting was briefed on the “ professional matters, public security challenges and measures being accepted to fight traditional and non-traditional pitfalls”.

The service’s media sect said that the army principal “ expressed satisfaction over functional preparedness of conformations and response medium to deal with arising challenges”.

The meeting also paid homage to the offerings of officers and men for the security of borders and the safety of the millions.

“ The forum took note of the recent propaganda crusade by some diggings to calumniate Pakistan Army and produce division between the institution and society,” said the ISPR.

  • “Pakistan Army is aware of its responsibilities,” Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa says.
  • “Army has always stood by the state institutions to guard [them],” ISPR says.
  • ISPR says that the national security of the country is “sacrosanct”.

The service’s media sect emphasized that the public security of the country is “ sacrosanct”.

“ Pakistan Army has always stood by the state institutions to guard (them) and always will, without any concession. The forum expressed complete confidence in leadership’s well-considered station to uphold the constitution and rule of law, at all cost,” said the ISPR.

“ Pakistan Army is apprehensive of its liabilities and shall continue to defend territorial integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan against all internal and external pitfalls under all circumstances,” the army chief had said while concluding the conference.
