Two Pak Army soldiers martyred during gun battle with terrorists in South Waziristan: ISPR

Two Pakistan Army dogfaces embraced martyrdom in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan quarter during a gun battle with terrorists, the service’s media affairs sect said on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), fortified terrorists attacked the dogfaces in the Sararogha area, egging immediate retribution from the colors and an violent exchange of fire replaced.

The dogfaces, after fighting gallantly among others, lost their lives, the statement said.

The martyred dogfaces have been linked as 26- time-old Lance Naik Umar Ali Khan, a occupant of Bannu; and 23- time-old Naik sepoy Muhammad Siraj ud Din, an occupant of Dera Ismail Khan.

The service said a concurrence operation was being carried out in the area.

“Pakistan Army is determined to exclude the imminence of terrorism and similar offerings of our stalwart dogfaces further strengthen our resoluteness, “the ISPR added.

On April 23, three dogfaces were martyred in the Dewagar area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan quarter during an exchange of fire with terrorists from across the Afghan border.

Also, in January this time, ten dogfaces were martyred after terrorists attacked a security forces ‘checkpost in Balochistan’s Kech quarter.

The ISPR had said the” fire raid “by terrorists passed on the night of Jan 25-26. One terrorist was also killed in retaliatory fire by the forces.
