US mulls over lifting some China tariffs to fight inflation

WASHINGTON: US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on Sunday that President Joe Biden has requested his group to take a gander at the choice of lifting a few taxes on China that were established by previous President Donald Trump, to battle the ongoing high expansion.

“We are checking it out. As a matter of fact, the president has asked us in his group to dissect that. Thus we are currently doing that for himself and he should pursue that choice,” Raimondo told CNN in a meeting on Sunday when gotten some information about whether the Biden organization was weighing lifting taxes on China to ease expansion.
