UAJK to hold 21st convocation on 6 December 2025

MUZAFFARABAD, (Parliament Times) : The University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (UAJK) will hold its 21st Convocation on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at King Abdullah Campus. During the ceremony, graduates from various undergraduate and postgraduate programs will be awarded degrees, and outstanding scholars will be conferred with gold medals.

In preparation for the event, a high-level meeting was chaired by Registrar Prof. Dr. Saadat Hanif Dar at the University’s Admin Block, Chella Campus. The meeting was attended by Deans, Directors, and heads of committees responsible for convocation arrangements, including the Dean of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Nadeem Haider Bukhari, Associate Dean Health Sciences Dr. Kashif, Finance Officer Prof. Dr. Khawaja Muhammad Basharat, Controller of Examinations Dr. Muhammad Basharat, Chairperson of the Department of Sociology Prof. Dr. Nazneen Habib, Director of Students Affairs Dr. Rehana Kousar, Coordinator of the Department of Mass Communication Dr. Shahida Khaleeq, Director IT Muhammad Sagheer, Additional Director Finance Syed Zulqarnain Raza Kazmi, Additional Controller of Examinations Muhammad Burhan Bukhari, Public Relations Officer Dr. Mubashar Naqvi, and Lecturer of the Department of Art & Design Khawaja Amir Rasheed. During the meeting, committee heads briefed the Registrar on arrangements to ensure a well-coordinated and smoothly managed convocation ceremony.

The convocation rehearsal is scheduled for Friday, 5 December 2025, at 2:00 PM at King Abdullah Campus, and attendance has been made mandatory for faculty members and participating graduates. Students who have already submitted their convocation forms and fees are not required to resubmit. However, those who have not completed the process are requested to submit their details and documents to the Deputy Controller Examinations, Degree Branch, Examinations Department, Admin Block, Chella Campus, UAJK, Muzaffarabad, Postal Code 13100, or contact 05822-960477. Convocation forms for 2025 are also available on the University website and at all UAJK offices and academic departments.

The convocation ceremony will be presided over by the President of the State and Chancellor of the University of Kashmir will award degrees and gold medals to graduating students and scholars.
