Stay focused on professional duties, army chief tells troops

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff(COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday directed the colors to always stay focused on their professional duties in the service of the nation.

On appearance at Peshwar Corps Headquarters, the COAS laid a flowery wreath at Shahuada(killers) monument, anInter-Services Public Relations(ISPR) press release said.

Latterly, the COAS addressed officers and men of the Peshawar Corps, where he appreciated the confirmation for its monumental sweats in achieving peace and stability.

“We owe it to the offerings of our shuhada for furnishing a secure and enabling terrain for socio-profitable development in recently intermingled sections in particular and KP in general,” the COAS said.

Before, on appearance at Corps Headquarters, the COAS was entered by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat.
