Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday penned a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling on him to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir disagreement in the” interest of collective peace and substance” for India and Pakistan.
Modi had complimented the premier on his April 11 election as the high minister and said India asked for peace and stability in the region. PM Shehbaz had recompensed the gesture and said Pakistan asked for” peaceful and collaborative ties” with India for which a result of the Kashmir disagreement was” necessary”.

In Sunday’s letter, a dupe of which is available withDawn.com, the high minister reiterated his gratefulness to his Indian counterpart for his well-conditioned wishes and said that Pakistan remained” committed to the conservation of indigenous peace and security”.
The letter said Pakistan’s offerings and donations towards fighting and barring terrorism were” well given and encyclopedically conceded”.
“We believe that peaceful and collaborative ties between Pakistan and India are imperative for the progress and socioeconomic uplift of our people and for the region.
“This can be stylishly achieved through meaningful engagement and peaceful resolution of all outstanding controversies, including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir,” PM Shehbaz wrote.
He called on Modi to inclusively secure peace and work for the” progress and substance of our people”.
