KARACHI: The Pakistan and UAE processions conducted a bilateral exercise named Nasl Al Bahr-IV that featured advanced nonmilitary operations, including a practical demonstration of live munitions shots(LWF).

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammed Amjad Khan Niazi and Head of UAE Naval Training Staff Brig Abdulla Sultan witnessed the exercise in the North Arabian Sea.

The fourth edition of Nasl Al Bahr exercises between the two processions was aimed to enhance interoperability, display functional readiness and consolidate bilateral nonmilitary relations.

The hallmark of the exercise was the live blasting by both processions’ face and aeronautics platforms. All units successfully engaged targets.

Admiral Niazi said he was fully satisfied with the Pakistan Navy’s war preparedness against all kinds of pitfalls. He also lauded the successful conduct of the common live blasting exercise by the two processions. He said the experience gained by both processions during the exercise had been “profoundly satisfying” and would strengthen the bonds.
