ISLAMABAD: China on Wednesday assured Pakistan of its uninterrupted support to the country’s sustainable profitable and strategic systems, including expansion of the China- Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC), Main Line-1(ML-1) rail track beside a fresh backing package of RMB 500 million for the country’s flood tide- relief sweats.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office(PMO), Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang made these commitments during separate meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the People’s Great Hall in Beijing.

The two sides inked and concluded a number of agreements covering bilateral cooperation in the areas of e-commerce, digital frugality, import of agrarian products, fiscal cooperation, protection of artistic property, structure, flood tide relief,post-disaster reconstruction, GDI, beast-compliant control, livelihood, artistic cooperation, space, geosciences as well as law enforcement and security.
With this, Prime Minister Sharif concluded his two-day demoiselle visit to China and returned back to the country on Wednesday night.
During his meeting with President Xi, the two leaders, reaffirming their collective commitment to the CPEC, agreed that as a design of strategic significance, both countries would make common sweats to “launch ML- 1 as an early crop design under the CPEC frame”.
They also conceded the need for a mass-conveyance design in Karachi and agreed to finalize all formalities for the early launch of the Karachi Circular Railway.
Mr. Sharif complimented President Xi on his reelection as the general clerk of the Communist Party of China at its 20th Central Committee. He also thanked him for China’s inestimable backing to Pakistan’s relief, recuperation, and reconstruction sweat in the wake of the desolation caused by super cataracts in the country.
The two leaders reviewed the progress in Sino-Pak bilateral relations and changed views on indigenous and global issues of collective interest.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the all-rainfall strategic collaborative cooperation between the two countries that have resisted the test of time. The two nations have stood forcefully side by side in realizing their participated vision of peace, stability, development, and substance.
Prime Minister Sharif explosively emphasized that Pakistan-China fellowship enjoyed complete agreement across the political diapason in Pakistan and was a model of inter-state relations.
Paying homage to President Xi’s leadership for China’s substance and his vision for strengthening the bilateral relationships, the high minister said Pakistan drew alleviation from China’s socio-profitable development and public resoluteness to the country’s progress and substance.
The two leaders bandied cooperation across a range of issues, including defence, trade and investment, husbandry, health, education, green energy, wisdom and technology, and disaster preparedness.
They also changed views on the rapid-fire metamorphosis in the transnational terrain, which had aggravated profitable challenges for developing countries. They affirmed their participated belief in dialogue and cooperation grounded on equivalency and collective benefit as critical for global peace and substance.
They agreed that contemporary challenges like climate change, health afflictions, and growing inequalities demanded unqualified cooperation among countries, in agreement with the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter.

Prime Minister Sharif and President Xi also bandied on indigenous issues, including the situation in India- held Kashmir and Afghanistan. They conceded that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan would promote indigenous security and profitable development, and agreed that CPEC’s extension to Kabul would strengthen indigenous connectivity enterprise.
The high minister also extended an assignment to President Xi for visiting Pakistan at an early date, which the ultimately accepted courteously.
Meeting with Chinese counterpart
PM Sharif and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang, in a meeting, agreed to expand the CPEC besides icing early completion of the corridor-related systems. The PM was warmly entered by Premier Keqiang at the People’s Great Hall where he was given a guard of honor.
The two sides also held delegation-position addresses headed by the separatist leaders.
PM Sharif also met the president of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Li Zhanshu, and bandied bilateral matters and collective cooperation.
Chinese enterprises encouraged to invest
The PM also met leading Chinese companies that expressed keen interest in investing in Pakistan’s solar, water, and other structural systems.
Speaking on the occasion, the high minister invited Chinese commercial heads to visit Pakistan and invest in the government’s comprehensive solar power design aimed at generating,000 megawatts of electricity, the PMO said. He also encouraged Chinese investment in Pakistan’s indispensable energy coffers, including wind turbine power shops.
Mr. Sharif stressed the early completion of the structure of Gwadar International Airport, which the Chinese companies assured would be completed by early coming time.
Also, in a meeting with Chinese investors and businessmen, PM Sharif claimed the government since assuming power in April had resolved several issues pertaining to businesses and paid them pending pretenses of Rs160 billion. He further said a revolving fund had been established by the State Bank of Pakistan on the directives of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with a seed plutocrat of Rs50bn.
He pledged to address on precedence the issues relating to land accession for the construction of Diamer Basha Dam and other hurdles in the way of completing Mohmand Dam.
Shehbaz also assured that reliable security would be handed to the Chinese labor force working in Pakistan, and said across-the-board security would be assured for those deputized on CPEC.
To address the water deficit in Karachi, the premier said the city government along with the Sindh government was ready to unite with Chinese companies.
Foreign policy precedences
Latterly, in a common statement, the Chinese side reiterated that relations with Pakistan would always be given the loftiest precedence in its foreign policy. The Pakistani side underlined that the Pakistan-China relationship was the foundation of its foreign policy and that the Pakistani people always supported the close fellowship between the two countries.
Pakistan also expressed its commitment to the One-China Policy and support on the issues of Taiwan, the South China Sea, Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Tibet. The Chinese side reaffirmed its support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security, and promoted its socio-profitable development and substance.
