Major dams in Pakistan Sindh are as follow:
01-Darawat Dam
Darawat Dam is concrete gravity dam across Nai Baran River near Village of Jhangri in Jamshoro district of Sindh, Pakistan. The dam is 250 metres (820 ft) in length and 43 metres (141 ft) in height, which would store about 150 million cubic metres (120,000 acre ft) of water to help irrigate 10,000 hectares (25,000 acres) of land.
02-Chotiari Dam
The Chotiari Dam is a man-made water reservoir located in the Sanghar District of the Sindh province of Pakistan, 35 kilometers from the town of Sanghar.
December 2002 saw the completion of its construction, which had cost a total of Rs 6 billion. This dam was built primarily to release saline water from the Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD). With a storage capacity of 750,000 acres (300,000 hectares) feet, the dam is enlarged to 24,300 acres (9,800 ha). It has a 0.67 MAF active capacity.
