Karzai hopes PM Shehbaz will engage positively with Afghanistan

Previous Afghan president Hamid Karzai on Thursday communicated trust that the new government in Pakistan would seek after “great relations with Afghanistan”.

Karzai, who stayed in power from 2001-to 14, offered the comments during a meeting with BBC, Tolo News announced.

“I can let you know that when I was in office the last year of my office, I had a fantastic connection with Mian Nawaz Sharif, the then state head of Pakistan, who I viewed as extremely ready to connect productively with Afghanistan,” he said,

“I trust that Mr. Shehbaz Sharif, the ongoing Prime Minister of Pakistan – his sibling – would follow a similar way and would observe that the Afghan public would answer them incredibly emphatically,” he added.

The previous president further guaranteed: “We in all actuality do wish a decent connection with Pakistan. Stable relationship, settle the relationship with Pakistan.”

Notwithstanding, when gotten some information about the new Pakistani airstrikes in the Kunar and Khost regions, he answered saying: “That was an unmistakable infringement of Afghanistan’s sway… of its regional respectability and the killing of Afghan ladies and youngsters, which again the Afghan public censured and challenge.”

Yet again Karzai underlined the need to return to schools for Afghan young ladies above grade six.

Remarking on the new lethal assaults on a portion of the instructive foundations, he said it was an “assault against Afghanistan’s endeavors for teaching its young.”

He further said that the assaults weren’t ethnic and that Da’ish had guaranteed the obligation regarding such goes after during the beyond a couple of years.

“This is plainly an assault against Afghan harmony and development towards soundness and progress. This is obviously an assault against Afghanistan’s endeavors for instructing its young,” he closed.
