“I have a very exacting plan how to stop Ukraine and Russia, And I have a certain idea — maybe not a plan, but an idea — for China,” he continued.
“However, I am unable to provide you with those plans, as I will be unable to implement them and they will be a huge failure if I do. Part of it is surprising, don’t you think?
The remarks are reminiscent of the action taken earlier this year by Trump supporters in Congress, who destroyed a bipartisan immigration package allegedly because they did not want the Biden-Harris administration to take the lead on one of the most important issues for the 2024 election.
Not going to be finished in a day
Trump had previously made similar claims. He had before made repeated claims that he could put an end to the conflict in Ukraine in a single day.
Previous remarks made by government officials endowed with the required authority must be distinguished from pre-election bluster, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry. “Let’s be realistic when discussing the possibility of resolving the conflict,” he said, alluding to his assertion that the war may be ended in a single day.
