Global internet freedom has fallen for the 14th year in a row, with Pakistan now classified as ‘not free’ alongside nearly two dozen other nations due to severe penalties and internet restrictions.
In its Freedom on the Net 2024 report, Freedom House, a Washington DC-based organization monitoring democracy and freedom threats, evaluated internet freedom in 72 countries.
