Delhi, India: A police officer said that an ongoing operation by security forces in the Sidhra area of Jammu early on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of four unidentified, heavily armed men who were traveling in a truck to India-held Kashmir after allegedly crossing into India. The officer referred to the event as a “major success” ahead of Republic Day, according to reports.
The encounter in the Jammu neighborhood of Sidhra resulted in the deaths of four terrorists. The additional director general of police (ADGP) of Jammu, Mukesh Singh, was quoted by India Today as saying, “We recovered seven AK-47 rifles, one M4 rifle, three pistols, and other ammunition.”
During a confrontation on Wednesday in the Sidhra area of Jammu between armed individuals and security personnel, the truck caught fire. The truck carrying husk was seen blowing smoke.
The identity of the truck’s owner is unknown. From Jammu to Srinagar, a truck was traveling. Search is still on nearby,” ADGP Singh said.

According to him, the truck was heading toward Kashmir. It was stopped near the Sidhra checkpoint after being followed, but its driver escaped under the guise of responding to the call of the natural world.
According to preliminary reports, the driver fled the scene, and militants hiding there opened fire on the security forces, resulting in a fierce confrontation.
The ADGP stated, “The identity and group affiliation of the terrorists is awaited.”
