Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Forum — France, strongly condemns the statement made about OIC

Paris, (PR) : Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Forum — France, strongly condemned the statement made about occupied Jammu and Kashmir during the joint press conference of the Indian and Afghan foreign ministers. He said occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory, and that the statement given at New Delhi’s joint press conference is a blatant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions. He expressed these views while speaking to the media yesterday. He expressed regret that the Afghan leadership has turned its back on the freedom struggle of the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, committing an injustice both to history and to the Muslim Ummah. He said any illegal claim by India over occupied Jammu and Kashmir is contrary to international law and UN resolutions, and called India the world’s largest terrorist state. He urged the United Nations, the OIC and the international community to take immediate notice of India’s illegal occupation, human rights violations, and attempts to change the region’s demographic balance, and to play an effective role in ensuring the Kashmiri people’s UN-recognized right to self-determination.He added that the words spoken at New Delhi’s joint press conference are an open violation of UN Security Council resolutions. “God willing, the Kashmir freedom movement will soon reach its logical conclusion; the blood of the martyrs of occupied Jammu and Kashmir will bear fruit; occupied Jammu and Kashmir will soon be liberated and become part of Pakistan,” he said.
