2024 marked the deadliest year for Pakistan’s civil and military forces in a decade, with at least 685 fatalities and 444 terror attacks. Civilians and security personnel suffered a combined total of 1,612 fatalities, making up over 63% of the year’s total, a 73% increase compared to the 934 outlaws eliminated. This year’s overall fatalities reached a record high, 66% more than in 2023, with an average of nearly seven lives lost daily. November emerged as the deadliest month. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa endured the highest toll with 1,161 fatalities, followed by Balochistan with 782.
