According to the provincial governor, Russian military attacked the area about 11,000 times in October alone.
According to officials, a Russian guided bombing in Zaporizhzhia, a city in southeast Ukraine, destroyed homes and damaged an oncology center, killing four people and wounding eighteen.
Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov posted on the Telegram messaging app Thursday that two boys, ages one and ten, and a four-month-old daughter were among the injured.
He stated that Russia launched five strikes on the city, leaving two individuals seriously injured. According to emergency services, a blast wave destroyed the oncology center.
According to officials, the rescue effort went on since additional individuals might be buried beneath the debris.
A mockery of remarks
Images from the scene that Fedorov shared showed residences with broken windows and crushed facades, as well as destroyed buildings.
The medical facility’s staircases were littered with broken glass and bloodstains.
Such attacks, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, mimic remarks over the absence of talks with Russia.
He claimed, “They take pleasure in killing people,” on X.
Attacks by Russian troops on Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area have increased recently. According to Fedorov, they launched around 11,000 strikes on the area in October alone.
