Ashley Paul Griffith, 46, committed the offenses in twelve different sites across Australia and Pisa, Italy, between 2003 and 2022.

Ashley Paul Griffith, a former daycare provider, entered a guilty plea to charges of raping, assaulting, and taking advantage of numerous girls in his care in Australia and Italy.

In the Brisbane courtroom on Monday, where a number of victims and their families had assembled, Judge Anthony Rafter took almost two hours to read out the 307 charges against Griffith, according to state broadcast ABC.

After the charges against the 46-year-old were made public last year, police charged him with being among Australia’s worst-ever paedophiles.

When Griffith created content about child sexual assault, he was first arrested in 2022. He was accused of 1,623 offenses against 91 children a year later.

Nevertheless, a few allegations were withdrawn, and according to the ABC, the charges on Monday concerned about sixty kids. A large number of the victims were younger than twelve.

The offenses took place in Pisa, Italy, and twelve various locations in Australia between 2003 and 2022.

Griffith is being held and will receive his sentence later.

According to ABC, the court was informed that sentence might go longer than two days in order to allow for the reading of victim impact testimonies.
