American B-1B bomber flies over Mideast amid Iran tensions

The US Air Force said on Sunday it flew a B-1B vital aircraft over key oceanic chokepoints in the Mideast with partners including Israel in the midst of progressing pressures with Iran as its atomic arrangement with world forces stays shredded.

The B-1B Lancer aircraft flew on Saturday over the Strait of Hormuz, the tight mouth of the Persian Gulf through which 20pc of all oil exchanged passes. It likewise flew over the Red Sea, its restricted Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and Egypt’s Suez Canal.
