Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : “All Eyes on Kashmir” cartoons exhibition was organized to expose Indian war crimes in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir here on Wednesday.
The exhibition showed the worst examples of Indian oppression in occupied Kashmir.
The exhibition included around 50 photographs that told the stories of Indian soldiers’ brutality on innocent Kashmiri people.
Acting President of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar, former Chief Justice Ibrahim Zia, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat, Hurriyat Leaders Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Shaukat Javed Mir and other leaders also recorded their views against Indian war crimes during the exhibition.
Acting President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar, former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Ibrahim Zia, Chairman Pasban Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Hurriyat Leaders Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Secretary General Central Bar Chaudhry Tawfiq Ahmed and many other leaders visited the exhibition.
Many political, social and other leaders who saw the exhibition also recorded their views against Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.
Various cartoons presented in the exhibition exposed the methods of Indian war crimes.
The event also highlighted the helplessness of Kashmiri citizens before and after August 5, 2019.
In the exhibition, the painful depiction of mass killing of Kashmiri citizens by Indian soldiers in Occupied Kashmir was also shown.
Due to Amarnath Yatra in Occupied Kashmir, the natural environment and the lives of local citizens have been shown to have fatal effects.
Thousands of anonymous graves discovered in Occupied Kashmir were also shown in the exhibition.
Event also showed that how Kashmiri citizens were forced to participate in celebrations on the so-called Indian Republic Day.
Acting President AJK Chaudhary Latif Akbar on the event said that the international community should take notice of the violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.
He said that the resistance movement cannot be eliminated by the worst use of black laws and killings in Occupied Kashmir.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali informed that the plight of Kashmiri prisoners who are suffering atrocities in Indian torture chambers was also shown in the exhibition.
He said that deadly effects of black laws like PSA implemented in Kashmir have been highlighted through these cartoons.
He maintained that restrictions on journalism and freedom of expression in Occupied Kashmir were also exposed.
“Forced disappearances of citizens in Occupied Kashmir were also exposed through cartoons”, he said.
“Indian government and forces are committing serious crimes against humanity in Kashmir”, he added.
Uzair appealed that the world should take notice of the dire situation of the citizens in Kashmir.
Former Chief Justice AJK Chaudhary Ibrahim Zia said that Indian judiciary has always given political and biased decisions regarding Kashmir.
He said that Narendra Modi is committing the worst atrocities against humanity in Kashmir.
People in the exhibition demanded the international community to implement UNSC resolutions on Kashmir for the stability of peace in South Asia.
