AJK remembers Kashmir-origin London martyrs marking their 52nd anniversary with due solemnity, reverence

MIRPUR (AJK),  (Parliament Times) : The 52nd martyrdom anniversary of the Kashmir-origin martyrs of London – Hanif Shaheed and Basharat Shaheed, was observed in Azad Jammu Kashmir on Thursday with due solemnity and reverence and with the renewal of the pledge to continue the mission of the Kashmiri martyrs till the liberation of occupied Jammu Kashmir from the Indian illegal and forced occupation.

Special ceremonies to commemorate the martyrdom day of the two valiant Kashmiri martyrs of London were held at the mausoleums of Bashrat Shaheed at Palak village and Hanif Shaheed at central Eidgah in Mirpur city.

Floral wreaths were laid on the mausoleums of both of the young kashmiri martyrs who established history by laying g down the supreme sacrifices of their lives for Pakistan, Kashmiris ultimate destination, this day 52 years ago on Feb. 20, 1973.

Strongly denouncing and rejecting August 05, 2019 Indian sinister act of abrogation of special status of the disputed Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir through revocation of article 370 and 35-A of her (India) constitution and converting bleeding vale of Indian illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir into world’s largest prison and torcher den for the last over three years in particular and over 76 years in general.

Pay rich tributes to the Kashmiri London Martyrs Commissioner Mirpur Division Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain, Mirpur Deputy Commissioner Yasir Riaz, ADC (G) Raja Umar Tariq besides thr elders of various segments of the local civil society after laying floral wreaths respectively at the mosoleums of Basharat Shaheed at Palak and Hanif Shaheed at central eid gah graveyard, urged upon the international community and human rights, peace and freedom loving nations to immediately intervene to get the innocent Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir people freed from the ongoing reign of state terrorism and violence unleashed against over eight million people of the muslim-majority in the disputed occupied valley of Kashmir in particular and the population of entire held state in general.

Earlier full dressed contingents presented salutes to the two young Kashmiri martyrs at their mausoleums besides inappropriate local high school in this city of expatriates.

The grand ceremonies were echoed with the full throated slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, valiant armed forces of Pakistan Zindabad, Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan, Down with India and Down with Indian imperialism and Down with Indian State terroris, and Pakistan say Rishta Kiyaa – La e Laa Ha Illalah.

Participants of the two ceremonies, while talking to this Correspondent here latet called upon the international community including the major powers as well United Nations to perform their due global obligations by exerting pressure on India to move for the early peaceful settlement of the much prolonged issue of Kashmir through meaningful dialogue with Pakistan for grant of right of self determination to Kashmiris under the spirit of UN resolutions for the sake of emergence of much- needed ever-lasting peace in South Asia.
