AJK President urges international community to feel pain n agony, Kashmiris were suffering since decades.

MIRPUR (AJK),  (Parliament Times) :  Azad Jammu Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said here on Wednesday despite using all means of oppression and state-terrorism, India has totally failed in its attempts to suppress the spirit of freedom of the valiant Kashmiri people”, he remarked.While addressing the Eid Milan Party hosted in his honor at the Quaid-e-Azam Stadium Mirpur, the president reiterated his resolve to continue the struggle on every front until the people of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir state achieve their long cherished goal of freedom.The President urged that the international community should feel the pain and agony the people of Kashmir have suffered during their decades long struggle against Indian imperialism.Barrister Sultan saithe constant struggle for the success of the Kashmir freedom movement has been the center and axis of his politics since day one.

Referring to his recent trip to Britain and USA, the president asserted that he successfully presented the Kashmiris’ case before the world community and exposed Indian brutalities in the region.He hoped that the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle would succeed soon and the region will be free from Indian occupation. Reiterating his commitment to serve the people of Mirpur, the president said that his election promise to complete the Rathoa Haryam Bridge was about to be fulfilled. He stated that construction on the Haryam Bridge is currently underway and that the project will soon be finished and accessible to the public.Additionally, he noted that the construction of a parking plaza in the city has been successfully completed. He remarked that the demand for establishment of an international airport in Mirpur has significantly grown by the passage of time, saying that collaborative efforts were required to translate this vision into action.

“20 members of the British Parliament, in their joint communication, have also demanded establishment of an international airport in Mirpur “, he said.

He voiced his backing for the public demonstration planned in Britain on April 13, aimed at advocating for the fulfillment of demands for the creation of an international airport in Mirpur.

He also reiterated his demand for early construction of Mirpur-Muzaffarabad-Mansehra motorway and proposed 9th ecenomic zone as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
