AJK Minister for TEVTA Javed Iqbal Budhanvi Visits TEVTA Complex, Reviews Institutional Performance

Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : AJK Minister for TEVTA, Javed Iqbal Budhanvi, visited TEVTA Complex at New Prime Minister House Jalalabad where he was received by Chairman AJKTEVTA Khawaja Muhammad Naeem Bismal and Secretary/COO Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari along with senior officials. During a detailed briefing, Dr. Masood Ahmed Bukhari highlighted TEVTA’s administrative structure, training programmes, developmental initiatives and government policies regarding youth skill development. He informed the Minister that TEVTA is introducing modern, market-oriented courses and strengthening partnerships with both public and private sectors to expand employment opportunities. He added that thousands of youth have already received training under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Programme with further initiatives under progress.
Chairman AJKTEVTA stated that the authority is committed to building a strong skilled workforce by providing access to modern technology, industrial training and internationally aligned courses. Minister Budhanvi appreciated TEVTA’s performance and emphasized the role of technical education in economic development. He directed officials to strengthen linkages with national and international institutions, introduce advanced trades and launch industry-driven skills programmes. He further stated that the government’s priority is to enhance youth employability and international competitiveness through modern equipment and high-quality training.
