AJK govt evolves Integrated Industrial uplift plan to give impetus to promote trade & industrial activities in the State: AJK PM
MIRPUR  ( AJK)(Parliament Times):  Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has said that the government has evolved a comprehensive strategy to promote industry and trade across the liberated territory of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, it was officially said.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of the Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI),  which called on him at the federal metropolis on Sunday. MCCI President Umar Shahzad led the delegation, oir Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur quoting authorotative AJK government sources on Sunday.
The delegation congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming office and extended their good wishes. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on industrial and commercial activities, investment promotion, employment generation, and issues faced by the business community.
The MCCI delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the chamber’s activities and apprised him about the challenges confronting industrialists in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Rathore said that providing a conducive environment for investors and the business community was among his government’s top priorities. He emphasized that stabilizing the regional economy was essential for creating new employment opportunities for the youth.
Highlighting Mirpur’s importance as a major industrial and commercial hub, the Prime Minister said that promoting industries in the city would benefit not only the local population but also the entire state’s economy.
He assured the delegation that the legitimate issues of the business community would be addressed on a priority basis and that practical measures would be taken to remove hurdles to industrial development.
The delegation expressed confidence in the Prime Minister’s leadership and reaffirmed its commitment to continued cooperation with the government.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister presented a commemorative shield to Umar Shahzad Jarral, President of the Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The delegation included Chaudhry Javed, Ghulam Murtaza, Sohaib Saeed, Zulfiqar Abbasi, Muhammad Hafeez, Ayaz Ahmed, Humayun Naeem, Zia-ul-Hassan, Imran Saeed, Ali Kallis, and Ansar Iqbal. Minister for Finance and Inland Revenue Chaudhry Qasim Majeed was also present.
The delegation invited the Prime Minister to visit the Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which he accepted.
