MIRPUR (AJK) (Parliament Times):Like all over Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir, the 58th Foundation Day of the PPP was celebrated in Mirpur district, on Sunday with the renewal of the pledge that party workers will not hesitate to make any sacrifice to fulfill the principles on which the Peoples’ Party was founded by the Leader of the People, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on November 30, 1967.
The day was celebrated on the special instructions of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP local unit sources told our Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao here on Monday.
Describing late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the distinguished leader of the third world and a common man of Pakistan, and custodian of the supremacy of the law and constitution, speakers while addressing a special ceremony to celebrate the foundation day, said late ZAB brought about a political revolution among the people kerpong the Kashmir issue among his priorities raising resolve to fight for a thousand years for the liberation of Jammu Kashmir state from Indian forced and unlawful occupation.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto strengthened democratic values ??in Pakistan and made Pakistan a nuclear power, due to which Pakistan and the nation are proud of each other all over the world today and will always remain so.
He expressed these views while addressing the 58th Foundation Day ceremony of the PPP organized by the PPP District Mirpur.
The ceremony was addressed by Minister for Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages ??Ms. Nabila Ayub Khan and former government minister Chaudhry Afsar Shahid as special guests, while PPP District Mirpur President Yasir Mumtaz Chaudhry presided over the ceremony. Habib Jaral performed the duties of the stage secretary. Chaudhry Farid Anwar Advocate, Zulfiqar Zulfi, Raja Iftikhar Ahmed, Shahid Rathore, Adil Shah and others addressed the ceremony. On this occasion, a cake was cut to celebrate the 58th Foundation Day of the PPP.
Minister for Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages, Ms. Nabila Ayub Khan said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto kept the Kashmir Liberation Movement among the priorities of the PPP and vowed to fight for the freedom of Kashmir for a thousand years. In this regard, the PPP and the Kashmir Liberation Movement are inseparable.
She said that today, two important figures of the PPP, former Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and President of Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, are not present at this event due to illness. She asked the workers to pray for the recovery of the leaders of both the parties. These two leaders are great assets of the PPP and the state.
Addressing the ceremony, former government minister Chaudhry Afsar Shahid, PPP district president Yasir Mumtaz Chaudhry and other speakers renewed the pledge that the workers would make every kind of sacrifice in life and money to strengthen and stabilize the PPP.
Under the ideology of Bhutto and Benazir, the Azad Kashmir government would complete the agenda of public service. A large number of office bearers and workers of PPP, PSF, PYO and PPP women’s wing were present on the occasion. PPP central leader Raja Iftikhar Ahmed raised enthusiastic slogans.
