PM Rathore thanks Pakistan for unwavering support to Kashmir cause

Bagh/ MIRPUR  (AJK) (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has expressed his profound gratitude to Pakistan for its steadfast support to the Kashmiris’ just cause and its enduring contribution and commitment to the AJK’s development and prosperity.

He expressed these views while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Danish school in Bagh, on Thursday. Pertinently, the foundation stone of the Danish school was laid by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.” We, as a nation, are grateful to the Pakistani people and political and military leadership for their consistent support and fearless advocacy of the Kashmir issue at the global stage”, the PM said.

He praised Pakistan armed forces for their unprecedented service to the nation especially for their heroic role in the Marka e Haq. The landmark victory, he said, has significantly elevated Pakistan’s global standing and earned it great respect from all over the world. The credit for this diplomatic success, he said, goes to the present government of Pakistan. While welcoming Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his arrival in Bagh, PM Rathore extended his heartfelt gratitude to PM Sharif for visiting the region despite his pressing national commitments. He stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s love for the people of Kashmir and long-standing commitment to the region’s development and prosperity is evident from the establishment of Danish schools in Azad Kashmir.Earlier, he added, the Pakistani Prime Minister had also laid the foundation stone for a Danish School in Bhimber. He expressed the optimism that similar facilities (establishing Danish schools) would be extended to the people living in areas adjacent to the LoC, especially in Leepa and Haveli.

PM Rathore vowed to follow the example of prime minister Sharif, saying that his government would work with the same zest and zeal to serve the people and gain their trust.
Terming establishment of Danish schools in AJK a revolutionary step,he said that the Danish school system would modernise the region’s entire education system. He said that the establishment of theseschools would go a long way to provide quality education to students hailing from economically underprivileged backgrounds.Referring to the change of government in Azad Kashmir, PM Rathore stated that the formation of a new government has restored the people’s confidence. He said that there was absolute peace in Azad Kashmir, which has been ensured through the sacrifices of the Pakistani army.Describing Pakistan as a steadfast supporter of the Kashmiris’ just cause, he remarked, “Pakistan has been tirelessly advocating our case internationally.”He lauded PM Shehbaz Sharif for his judicious measures especially forming a committee to address the legitimate concerns of the people of Azad Kashmir, noting that its members held thorough discussions with stakeholders and helped normalize the situation. “I am sure that under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the agreement will be implemented in letter and spirit”, the PM remarked.
