Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day, Islamabad Model College for Boys G-7/4 organized a peaceful solidarity walk to express unity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The walk was held to mark the grim anniversary of August 5, 2019, when India unconstitutionally revoked Article 370, stripping Kashmir of its special status.
The walk was led by the college principal,voice principal class head Mr. Fayyaz Najmi, teachers, and students, who carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans like “Kashmir Banega Pakistan” and “We Stand with Kashmiris”. The students chanted slogans demanding the right of self-determination for the Kashmiri people and condemning the ongoing human rights violations in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the principal emphasized that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will not go in vain and that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. He urged students to remain aware of the Kashmir issue and raise their voices for justice and peace.
The event aimed to raise awareness among the youth about the Kashmir conflict and inspire a sense of responsibility and solidarity towards oppressed communities.
