Trump threatens to halt help to Jordan and Egypt because to the contentious Gaza plan.

Trump claims that if Jordan and Egypt reject the admission of ethnically cleansed Palestinians, he would “conceivably” stop providing help to them.

With a plan to transfer Palestinians from Gaza to Jordan and Egypt and occupy the blockaded territory, US President Donald Trump has threatened to “conceivably” stop aid to both nations if they do not accept Palestinians.

Trump said, “Yeah, maybe, sure why not,” to reporters Monday in the White House Oval Office. “If they don’t, I would conceivably withhold aid, yes.”

Trump responded, “I do think he’ll take, and I think other countries will take as well,” when asked how he would persuade Jordan’s monarch to accept more Palestinians. Their hearts are good.

Trump vowed to revoke the ceasefire in besieged Gaza if the captives were not freed by Saturday, following resistance organization Hamas’ announcement that they would postpone the release of the prisoners until further notice. Trump then threatened to withdraw aid to Egypt and Jordan.

In contrast to remarks made by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Secretary of State Marco Rubio that the so-called relocation would be temporary and for a “interim” time to allow for debris removal, he had stated that Palestinians would not have the right to return once they were evacuated.

In reference to the West Bank, Trump stated that he has “no plans.”

They’re there right now, and I’m assuming they want to stay. It’s not the same. They are present. “With the Gaza Strip, it’s never been like this,” he continued.

The refusal of Arab states
Rubio was informed earlier in the day by Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty that Arab nations back the Palestinians in opposing Trump’s proposal to expel Palestinians from Gaza and take control of the region.

He emphasized how crucial it is to reconstruct Gaza while the Palestinians are still there.

According to a statement from the foreign ministry, Abdelatty expressed his excitement about collaborating with the new US government to bring about “comprehensive and just peace and stability” in the area.

Leaders throughout the world have denounced Trump’s plan, claiming it will jeopardize regional stability.
