The mercenary death risk in the Russia-Ukraine war has climbed, the UN said on Sunday, while the number of people fleeing the war is now over4.5 million.

At least further people have been injured in Ukraine since Feb. 24, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said in a statement, adding that the “ factual numbers are vastly advanced.”

“ Utmost of the mercenary casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive munitions with a wide impact area, including shelling from heavy ordnance and multiple launch rocket systems, and bullet and airstrikes,” read the statement.

Data from the UN High Commissioner for Deportees (UNHCR) showed the number of people who have left Ukraine since the launch of the war has risen.

Utmost of them have gone to bordering countries – over2.59 a million to Poland, Romania, Hungary, Moldova, to Russia, to Slovakia, and to Belarus, according to rearmost the UNHCR numbers.

Millions more are internally displaced in Ukraine, with an update from the International Organization for Migration before this week placing the number at7.1 million.
