78-Year-Old Ch Nazir Hussain Kisana Enrolls at AIOU, Proving That Learning Has No Age Limit

MIRPUR (AJK),  (Parliament Times) :  In an inspiring example of lifelong learning, 78-year-old Ch Nazir Hussain Kisana has enrolled at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Mirpur AJ&K Regional Campus, proving that education knows no age barriers, it was officially said.

“Ch Nazir Hussain Kisana, a passionate advocate for continuous learning, has embarked on this academic journey to fulfill his long-standing dream of higher education. His enrollment at AIOU reflects the university’s commitment to providing accessible education to all, regardless of age or background”, Regional Director Faisal Shehzad told this Correspondent here on Thursday.

Speaking about his decision, Mr. Kisana expressed his enthusiasm: “Education is a lifelong process, and I believe it is never too late to learn. AIOU’s flexible learning system has given me the opportunity to continue my studies without limitations.”

AIOU, known for its open and distance learning model, has been at the forefront of providing educational opportunities to students from all walks of life. The university takes pride in welcoming learners of all ages and supporting them in achieving their academic goals.

Regional Director of AIOU, Mr. Faisal Shahzad, welcomrd Mr. Kisana on his admission in the campus stating: “His dedication serves as an inspiration to all. At AIOU, we encourage learners from diverse backgrounds to pursue education and personal growth.”

Ch Nazir Hussain Kisana’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion for knowledge. His enrollment at AIOU will undoubtedly inspire many others to follow their dreams, regardless of age.
