Veteran AJK philanthropist, physician late Dr. Akram Ch. remembered at Condolence Reference for his meritorious services to sick humanity

MIRPUR ( AJK)(Parliament Times): Speakers, representing all walks of life including the medical fraternity while addressing condolence reference hosted in memory of the eminent physician and philanthropist of Azad Jammu Kashmir late Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhry, a beloved personality of Mirppur and rest of AJK founder of Noor Memorial Hospital complex for his remarkable services for the rehabilitation of the sick humanity in the region, paid rich tribute to the departed souls’s unparalleled services in the field of medicine, humanitarian service, and social welfare activities.

Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur AJK that the reference was organized by the close associates of the late Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Dr. Riazat Chaudhry, and Dr. CM Hanif, while the duties of the stage secretary were performed by Dr. Riazat Ali. The largelly attended ceremony formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Addressing the ceremony speakers including Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Dr. Chaudhry Muhammad Hanif, Dr. Ali Amin, Azad Kashmir Minister for Physical Planning and Housing Chaudhry Yasir Sultan, former government minister Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, and former advisor Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf and others lauded the philanthropy, professional integrity, and valuable services and role of the late Dr. Akram Chaudhry.

Speakers said that the late Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhry played a fundamental role in providing modern medical facilities in the region by laying the foundation of Noor Memorial Hospital Mirpur. His hospital proved to be a blessing not only for the patients of Mirpur but also for the ailing humanity fromentire region, where quality treatment and compassionate attitude were his hallmark. Under his supervision, speakers continued, many helpless people were provided free treatment, and welfare measures for deserving patients were always among his priorities.

“Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhry’s life was full of service, sincerity and love, and his mission was,still alive even his,departure to the ultimate life, through the institutions for rehabilitation of the sick humanity, he founded, they added.

Addressing the ceremony, the late Dr. Ali Amin, son of the late doctor, pledged to follow in his father’s footsteps and reiterated his desire to continue his journey of serving humanity.

He thanked all the organizers for organizing this impressive event and said that this tribute is actually a manifestation of the love of the people of Mirpur.

A large number of citizens from all walks of life , including academic, literary, social, medical and political figures from Mirpur and its surroundings, participated in the condolence reference and prayed for the forgiveness of the late Dr. Akram Chaudhry.

The participants offered a special prayer was offered for elevation of his status in heaven.
