ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday acquainted the chairman of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and UN clerk general of the continuing grave situation in engaged Jammu and Kashmir.

In his letter addressed to the chairman of UNSC and UN clerk general, the foreign minister refocused to the deteriorating mortal rights and the philanthropic situation in held Kashmir and the patient trouble to transnational peace and security posed by India’s instigative and reckless rhetoric as well as its track record of orchestrating false flag operations.

He demanded agreement of the Jammu and Kashmir disagreement in agreement with applicable judgments of the Security Council which guarantee the Kashmiris right to tone- determination through the popular system of a free and unprejudiced plebiscite conducted under the aegis of the United Nations.

The foreign minister drew attention to the recent torrent of extra-judicial killings, arbitrary apprehensions, and illegal detentions in India- enthralled Kashmir, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He stressed the recent arrest of famed Kashmiri mortal rights activist Khurram Parvez on trumped-up charges in complete casualness for introductory mortal rights principles, morals, and transnational law.
