Timeline of Kashmir conflict; from 1947 to 2021

The Kashmir conflict is a regional clash over the Kashmir area, fundamentally among India and Pakistan, with China having an outsider. This infographic series centers on Kashmir 74 year struggle for independence, highlighting Indian aggression towards Pakistani Kashmiri and other areas of Pakistan. The recent dossier also revealed Indian atrocities & violations against the people of IOJK.

For the vicious cycle of hate to stop, the world must hold India accountable.

 

1947 Partition Of India

In August 1947, after 300, the British finally left and the subcontinent was portioned into two independent states; Hindu-Majority India and Muslim-Majority Pakistan.

1947 First Indo Pak War

1947 first Indo Pak war, Kashmiri population rebelled fearing monarch would join India.

1949 UN Attention

1949 UN attention, the intensity of war increased the threat to world peace and brought dispute under UN attention.

The War Goes On

The Indian forces intruded into the Pakistani area in the Rann of Kutch In April 1965.

1971 3rd Indo Pak War

1971 third Indo-Pak War, this time focus was East Pakistan. India helped rebels fight for independence and dealt Pakistan a devastating defeat.

1987 Elections Rigged By India

The election for the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir was held in March 1987. Thousands of Kashmiri took to the streets in Indian-controlled Kashmir to protest the occupation. India in response used violent resistance which escalated to brutality.

1990s Fight For Independence

1990’s Fight for independence, Kashmiri youth voluntarily joined the Kashmir freedom movement to fight against the violence by the Indian government.

 

1999 4th Indo Pak War

The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict, was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil.

 

2000s Terror Attack

In 2000, members of Lashkar e Taiba bombed India’s parliament building in New Delhi.

2019 Indian Aggression

2019 Indian Aggression, India conducted a Balakot airstrike on 26 February crossing the de facto border of Kashmir and dropping bombs in the town of Balakot, KPK province, Pakistan.

 

 

27th October Black Day

27th October Black Day, Marks protest and resentment by Kashmiris around the world against the forced occupation by Indian security forces of the Jammu and Kashmir valley.

Vicious Cycle Of Violence

In the vicious cycle of violence, the Indian army raised violent extremism and barbarianism by detaining innocent Kashmiri’s.
