MOSCOW: Russia’s defence ministry said on Sunday its aircraft had shot down a Ukrainian MI- 17 copter near the eastern city of Sloviansk and an SU- 25 aircraft in Kharkiv region.

Meanwhile, the European Union indicted Moscow of using the mainland’s largest nuclear power factory to store munitions and launch dumdums on the girding regions of southern Ukraine.

The situation at the captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear factory is “ extremely tense ”, Ukraine’s infinitesimal energy agency principal Petro Kotin said, adding that the Russians had installed bullet launchers and used the installation to shell the Dnipro region.

Describing “ a deluge of fire ”, indigenous governor Valentyn Reznichenko said on Saturday Grad dumdums had pounded domestic areas.

“ saviors set up two dead people under the remains ” in the seaside megacity of Nikopol, he said.

With the conflict grinding on and decreasingly discovering out into global energy and food heads, the EU’s foreign ministers are considering banning gold purchases from Russia, which would align with warrants formerly assessed by G7 mates.

further Russian numbers could also be placed on the EU’s blacklist.

“ Moscow must continue to pay a high price for its aggression, ” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said after encouraging the proposed measures.

Brussels is anticipated to hold original warrants conversations on Monday, but not make a same- day decision, according to a elderly EU functionary.

Stepping up attacks

further than 20 weeks since Russia raided its neighbour, killing thousands and displacing millions of Ukrainians, Moscow blazoned on Saturday that it would step up its military operations.

Minister Sergei Shoigu “ gave the necessary instructions to further increase ” military pressure, according to the Russian defence ministry.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has formerly indicted Russia of seeking to induce maximum damage, but pledged that Ukraine would “ endure ”.

In his Saturday evening address, Zelensky said Ukraine has “ resisted Russia’s brutal blows ” and managed to take back some of the home it lost since the launch of the war, and will ultimately regain more engaged land.

“ We’ll endure. We’ll win, ” he said, and “ rebuild our lives ”.

While the heaviest fighting has continued to concentrate on the artificial Donbas region in the east, in the northeast near Ukraine’s alternate- largest megacity Kharkiv, the drumfires have been fast and hard in recent days.

A Russian bullet attack killed three in the city of Chuguiv over the weekend and destroyed a domestic house and a academy.

“ Why me? Just because I was born in Ukraine, ” asked resident Raiysa Kuval as she sat on the debris.

“ We were leaving peacefully, and they tore piecemeal mama from father, child from mama , family from family. It’s unsupportable. ”

The failure to secure a common advertisement came a week after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov walked out of G20 addresses in Bali over review of Moscow.

Canada blasted Moscow’s participation in the meeting at all as “ absurd ”, with Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland saying from Bali that Russia’s presence “ was like inviting an firebug to a meeting of firefighters ”.

In the denuclearized Donbas region, grinding fosse battles and ordnance conflicts have morphed into a war of waste.

Donetsk separatist functionary Daniil Versonov said recusant fighters were “ clearing ” eastern sections of Siversk in small groups.

Hundreds of kilometres from the frontline, bullet strikes caused heavy mercenary casualties in the central megacity Vinnytsia, with the death risk raised to 24 on Saturday.

“ Unfortunately, one woman failed in sanitarium moment, she was 85 percent burned, ” said Sergei Borzov, the governor of Vinnytsia region, adding that 68 people were still entering treatment, including four children.

In the face of transnational commination, the Russian defence ministry said it had targeted a meeting in Vinnytsia of the “ command of the Ukrainian air force with representatives of foreign arms suppliers ”.
