Russia bombs Odessa with Iran’s drones: Kyiv

KYIV: Ukraine said Sunday that the southern port city of Odessa was gone after by Iranian-made drones for the time being, two days after a Russian assault with such a weapon killed two regular citizens.

“Odessa was gone after again by adversary kamikaze drones,” said the Ukrainian armed force’s Functional Order South.

“These were Iranian robots,” a Ukrainian South Order representative, Natalya Gumenyuk, later said.

Four Iranian-made drones were shot down in the south of the country on Friday, as per Ukraine’s military.

Kyiv said later it chose to diminish Iran’s discretionary presence in Ukraine over its stock of robots to Russia.

An unfamiliar service official said the move added up to removal as the representative was not in Ukraine and in this way couldn’t be ousted.

“The utilization of Iranian-made weapons by Russian soldiers… are steps taken by Iran against the power and regional trustworthiness of our state, as well as against the life and strength of Ukrainian residents,” a representative for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday.

Long lines of vehicles
