According to a press release issued by the military’s media wing, three Pakistan Army soldiers were killed in a gunfight with terrorists on Thursday in the Arawali area of the Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The martyrs were identified as 42-year-old Subedar Shuja Muhammad from Khairpur, 32-year-old Naik Muhammad Ramzan from Khuzdar, and 30-year-old Sepoy Abdul Rehman from Sukkur in the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

Terrorists and law enforcement engaged in a firefight on December 29 in the general area of Arawali, Kurram District. The ISPR stated, “Own troops engaged the terrorists’ location bravely and effectively.”

Two terrorists were killed in a fierce firefight. Weapons and ammo were additionally recuperated from the killed psychological militants,” it said, adding that the killed fear-based oppressors remained effectively associated with dread exercises against security powers.

The assertion added that sanitization of the area was being completed to dispose of any psychological militants tracked down nearby.

The military’s media wing concluded, “The Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.”

The present episode comes as Pakistan is seeing an increase in fear-monger assaults the nation after the banned Tehreek-I-Taliban Pakistan finished its months-long truce with the public authority last month.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the southern belt, and the merged districts, there has been a resurgence of militancy in recent weeks and months, with more violent attacks on law enforcement personnel.
